As a long time fan of traditional Country Music, I truly appreciate the honky tonk vibes of Ella Langley and Riley Green's 'You Look Like You Love Me'. As it was climbing the charts, I was instantly reminded of all the great Classic Country Duets our genre has created- from Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton to George Jones & Tammy Wynette!
Ella and Riley could easily be called the Conway & Loretta of this generation- two artists with great solo careers, not romantically linked, join forces to create another 'act' that could stand on it's own. Actually, from 1972-1975 Conway & Loretta had four wins as the CMA Vocal Duo of the Year. Now, in 2025, Country's Leading (non-partnered) Couple, Ella Langley and Riley Green, enjoy their fourth CMA for 'You Look Like You Love Me' - 2024 CMA Music Event of The Year and 2025 CMA Single, Song and Music Video of The Year.
