There is potential for a tornado, here's the latest
After a week of severe weather in the Capital Region, the area braces for the worst to come on Sunday. High temperatures and high humidity have led to strong storms in parts of the area. As temperatures and humidity remain high, the potential is very real for tornadoes Sunday afternoon and evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for most of the Capital Region as well as parts of Vermont and Massachusetts. The areas under threat are highlighted in yellow:

In addition much of the area remains under a heat advisory until 8pm Sunday with a likelihood of severe thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds.
The latest severe weather outlook for today has eastern areas in an "Enhanced Risk" (level 3 of 5), which is more rare from this part of the country. This level corresponds to the potential for more persistent & intense storms compared to a "Slight" or "Marginal" Risk. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/yySkGJDP7o
