Miss the Tulip Festival? Take a piece of it home!
The beloved Tulip Dig and Sale returns this year following the 77th annual Tulip Festival in Washington Park, bringing joy to gardeners and flower fans alike. On May 17th, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Moses Fountain, the City invites residents to dig up tulip bulbs—tools provided, though garden forks are encouraged—for just $10 per bag of 30, in designated beds only. Then, on May 18th starting at 9 a.m. at the Lakehouse, any remaining bulbs will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. This cherished spring tradition gives locals the chance to bring a piece of the Park’s stunning floral display home. Ready your forks—spring’s final bloom awaits!
