Metro 7 Diner in Latham Reopens After Weekend Fire, Ready to Welcome Back Loyal Patrons
The beloved Metro 7 Diner is back in business after a fire devastated the popular eatery just days ago. The fire, which broke out on Sunday around 10:45 p.m., had local crews, including the Verdoy Volunteer Fire Department, racing to the scene. Thanks to their quick response and tireless efforts, the fire was contained, but the diner sustained fire, smoke and water damage.
But the spirit of the Metro 7 Diner is far from extinguished. After days of repairs and cleanup, the diner is set to reopen its doors this Wednesday at 5 p.m. Starting Thursday, the diner will resume its regular hours, welcoming guests from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. For those who have missed their classic diner favorites, the Metro 7 Diner promises a warm welcome and a delicious plate waiting for every guest.
