And cheap flights if you book early
Add a few more cities to the map where you can fly direct from Albany. Starting this summer Breeze Airways will offer non-stop flights to Charleston, South Carolina, Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina and Fort Myers, Florida twice per week.
Starting June 5th, flights to Raleigh and Fort Myers will be offered Thursday and Sundays with a special introductory rate of $49 one way. Flights to Charleston will occur Mondays and Fridays starting June 13th.
Sam Fresina is the chair of the Albany County Airport Authority Board of Directors, he tells News 10 the new destinations are expected to be a big hit with travelers:
This long-awaited addition to ALB’s air service options reflects our ongoing commitment to working with airlines to meet passenger demand and ensure that we’re making it easier for individuals to get to their destinations. These new flights will quickly connect our travelers to some of both North and South Carolina’s most popular destinations. We’re grateful for our new partnership with Breeze Airways and look forward to building upon today’s exciting announcement.
