Willie Nelson and Friends Continue To Help Family Farms
Willie Nelson launched Farm Aid in 1985 with the mission of helping Local Independent Family Farmers stay on their land and stay in business. Now, 40 years later, the Farmers still need Willie's help, and he's still there (at the age of 92)!
Farm Aid 40 was hosted in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Saturday, September 20, 2025 with a diverse line-up that included Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, Margo Price, Dave Mathews, Kenny Chesney, Wynonna Judd, Billy Strings and More! Over 36,000 fans gathered to enjoy 12 hours of music to help raise awareness of the struggles facing Independent Family Farms today, from corporate power in agriculture to climate change.
We've been fortunate to have Farm Aid hosted in our own Saratoga Springs, NY in 2013 and 2024, but there's still more work to be done! If you want to help just visit FarmAid.Org.
Farm Aid artists and board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Margo Price host an annual festival to raise funds to support Farm Aid’s work with family farmers and to inspire people to choose family farm food. Since 1985, Farm Aid, with the support of the artists who contribute their performances each year, has raised more than $85 million to support programs that help farmers thrive, expand the reach of the Good Food Movement, take action to change the dominant system of industrial agriculture and promote food from family farms.
