Movies, ice cream, and more
The Palace Theatre's Broadview Summer in the City Free Movie Series, presented by Fidelis Care, is back this July and August with eight free family-friendly movie events. The series, a Downtown Albany summer tradition for over a decade, offers children a chance to enjoy the historic Palace Theatre while engaging in arts and entertainment. Each event includes crafts, activities, and free popcorn for children, with special activities like photo opportunities with Rapunzel and LEGO building sessions. The series concludes with a screening of The SpongeBob Movie and free ice cream for guests, courtesy of Stewart's Shops. Attendees are entered into weekly giveaways for prizes like ride passes and movie tickets.
