No paws for panic, firefighters got there just in time
What could have been a cat-tastrophe (sorry, had to do it) turned into a heartwarming moment in South Glens Falls on Wednesday. Employees at the Saratoga Water Authority on Butler Road told News 10 they spotted a cat stuck on the ice in one of the ponds behind their building and called for help.
Accompanied with their new banana boat, the South Glens Falls Fire Company arrived at the scene. One of their divers entered the frigid water and was able to grab the cat off a thin sheet of ice.
It's not yet known if the cat belongs to someone, but the feline was taken to the vet to get checked out.
