They have three stores in the Capital Region
Fabric and craft retailer Joann may be filing Chapter 11 as soon as this week. The chain operates over 850 stores nationwide, with three locations in the Capital Region. Bloomberg says the execs at the company have been in talks with lenders attempting to secure funds and continue operating as normal. It's not yet known if this will involve any store closures.
Reports say Joann has had trouble keeping up with inventory demands, while at the same time navigating through inflation and tighter consumer spending.
Their Capital Region locations include Village Plaza in Clifton Park, Northway Shopping Center in Colonie and the Shoppes at Dove Creek in Amsterdam.
