Glass was shattered at at least ten different businesses
Update 1:12pm: According to CBS 6, Magner was reported as a missing person from Hudson in July. She apparently has not been seen since May 29th.
Some store owners on Central Avenue drove up to find their windows shattered on Wednesday morning. Police said it happened just before 6. They received reports of a woman with a hammer randomly smashing windows in the 300 block.
Albany Police say a total of ten businesses were damaged:
- New Yorker Pizzeria and Fried Chicken
- Heaven on Earth
- Nail Top
- Ichiban
- Sheba al-yemen
- Lucky Tattoo
- Dripeez Smoke Shop
- Club Phoenix
- Capital Area Peer Services
- Watkins Spring CO.
The suspect, 28 year old Sarah Magner of Albany was arrested nearby and charged with a total of seven counts of criminal mischief.
For now, the broken windows have been boarded up.
