UPDATED: Missing Child Alert Issued For 7-Year-Old Last Seen In Menands

Authorities have updated the missing child's name, height and weight.

UPDATED ON 6/29/26 AT 9:45AM:

According to the Albany County Sheriff's office, the missing child's name is Harbe M Nagi. He is 3 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 48 pounds.

The original report said that he is close to 5 feet tall, weighed around 70 pounds and his name is Aharib Nagi.

 

A New York State Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 7-year-old boy who was reported missing Sunday afternoon in Menands.

According to the alert, Aharib Nagi was last seen around 4:20 p.m. Sunday, June 28, on Park Drive in the Village of Menands.

Aharib is 7 years old, approximately 4 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 70 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators say Aharib has autism, is non-verbal, and may be in need of medical attention.

At the time he was last seen, he was reportedly wearing a light-colored T-shirt, dark pants, and no shoes.

Anyone who sees Aharib or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately or contact the Albany County Sheriff's Office at (518) 765-5979.
