She was parked with the car running when police found her.
A Lake George woman was arrested last Thursday when Warren County Sheriff's found her unconscious behind the wheel of her car.
Deputies responded after a restaurant called them to report that an impaired woman was attempting to leave and that she had 2 children in the car with her. Once authorities found Ashley Seifert, she was passed out behind the wheel of her car and she had an 8 year old and a 10 year old with her in the back seat. Upon further investigation, they found that drugs impaired her and she was taken into custody.
The Warren County Sheriff's Office says that Seifert is facing multiple charges.
Those charges, posted on the Warren County Sheriff's Office website, include -
Seifert was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (misdemeanor), (two Counts) Endangering the Welfare of a child (Misdemeanor), Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (Misdemeanor) and (Two Felony Counts) of Aggravated DWI-Ability Impaired by Drugs. She was released to appear at a later date in Lake George Town Court.
